Sheet Pan Beef Kebab Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef

  • ½ onion, finely grated

  • 2 cloves garlic, pressed

  • ½ teaspoon turmeric

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

  • Avocado oil, for greasing

How to Make It

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F. Lightly grease a sheet pan with avocado oil.

  2. Prepare the onion:

Chop the onion in half and throw it into a food processor (or mini chopper) to get the onion very fine. It makes the texture smoother and keeps the kebab extra juicy.

  3. Mix the meat: In a bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped onion, pressed garlic, turmeric, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Use your hands to mix thoroughly until everything is evenly combined and cohesive.

  4. Shape the kebab: Transfer the beef mixture onto the greased sheet pan. Press it out evenly into a large rectangle, about ½ to ¾ inch thick.

  5. Score the beef: Gently score shallow lines across the meat to create kebab-style portions. This gives it that traditional kebab look and helps with even cooking

  6. Bake: Bake for about 18 to 22 minutes, or until fully cooked and juicy. The top should be lightly browned and the edges slightly caramelized.

  7. Rest and slice: Let it rest for a few minutes, then slice along the scored lines.

Conclusion

This sheet pan beef kebab is such a quick and easy protein for the family. It’s juicy, flavorful, and simple without needing a grill.

Serve with rice, pita, fresh herbs, or yogurt for an easy complete meal.
